The base is ideally located for exploring the scenic delights of the Lee Valley Country Park. It’s the perfect place for combining your boating with bird watching, walking, cycling and angling. How to find us

BY ROAD:
 M25 to Junction 25, the A10 towards Cambridge, the A1170 to Broxbourne. Turn right at station Road then over the railway bridge take the first turning on the right, actually on the bridge, into Old Nazeing Road.
 BY RAIL:
From London - direct line Liverpool Street to Broxbourne.
From Stanstead Airport - direct line to Broxbourne.
Turn left outside Broxbourne Station, at the end of the road leading from the station turn left, then take the first turning on the right into Old Nazeing Road.
 BY PLANE:
Stanstead Airport (Nearest) - Direct Rail link.

The Lee & Stort Navigations link Hertford and Bishop’s Stortford along the Lee Valley to the Thames. The Lee & Stort, with some 42 miles of water, offer a variety of recreational opportunities and a wealth of scenery from rich industrial heritage to rural countryside - and wildlife habitats.
Boating along the Lee & Stort Navigations can be enjoyed by every one. Whether in canoes, rowing boats, river cruisers, narrowboats or even dragon boats, the Lee & Stort offer them all. Modern, comfortable holiday or day boats are available for hire at the Lee Valley Boat Centre. They are easy to handle and provide a fun and interesting way for all the family to explore the navigations. Alternatively, public boat trips operate from the Boat Centre which can also be chartered for private parties.
The Boat Centre is closed in the November. Hourly boats are available March to October. Narrowboats are available over the Christmas period, New Year and all year except November.
